It’s Halloween in the Triangle, where we have no shortage of beautiful farms, hayrides, live music, and haunted and spooky fun events! Check out our guide below for some Halloweekend fun!
Howl-O-Ween Fest – Saturday, 2:30-4:30pm – Bring your costumed pup to Boxyard RTP for a dog costume contest benefiting Pawfect Match Rescue in Holly Springs, or stop by the photo booth for a chance to be featured on Boxyard’s Facebook page.
Halloween Silent Disco – Saturday, 8-11:30pm – Bust a move with ghosts and ghouls at Hi-Wire Brewing during this dance party featuring three DJs.
Hallow-Eno – Sunday, 6-9pm – Durham Parks & Recreation celebrates its 32nd annual event for children ages 12 and younger at West Point on the Eno. The evening features campfire stories and songs, hayrides, treats, crafts, games and face painting. No registration necessary.
The Witch’s Haunted Barn
Walk through this haunted experience for all ages at Firefly Farm between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. Survive the spiders, skeletons, doctors, dungeons and more to earn Halloween candy, or enjoy a walk around the farm’s trails and meet the animals. Tickets are required.
Spooky Night: A Dance Party
Head to Local 506 for a dance party at 7 p.m and a Halloween costume contest at 11 p.m. Contest winners will be awarded bar tab prizes up to $200.
