There are many steps in the road to buying or selling a home that rely on the expertise of many professionals. I am with you at the center of the road—getting to know the home that you would like to sell or learning of the home you wish to buy. I manage timelines, gather the appropriate experts for each situation and advise on factors that are crucial to the decisions you make throughout the process.
Building relationships in the community is the cornerstone of an exceptional business model in real estate. I am a member of the best real estate industry organizations in the Triangle area--The Durham Regional Association of REALTORS® and The Home Builders Association of Durham, Orange & Chatham Counties. I began the Charter Organization of The Professional Women in Building of Durham, Orange, Chatham Counties. I currently serve as President-Elect for The Rotary Club of Downtown Durham and an Ambassador for the Hillsborough/Orange Chamber of Commerce. I am an Assistant Scout Master for Troop 438 and a Girl Scout Brownie Leader for Troop 1274.
I have spent the last 23 years working with national banks, mortgage companies and real estate firms navigating the ever-changing landscape of the investment, lending and real estate markets. I earned my NC Real Estate Broker License in 2006. I have earned the Graduate, REALTOR® Institute designation (GRI), the Seller Representative Specialist designation (SRS), and I hold the Seniors Real Estate Specialist® designation (SRES®) to be specially qualified to address the real estate needs of those age 50+.
I also specialize in land transactions where I assist buyers and sellers in their due diligence around building suitability. As co-owner of Collins Design-Build, my husband Chad D. Collins and I are a knowledgeable real estate team in our community, always operating using Rotary's Four-Way Test in what we think, say and do:
1) Is it the Truth?
2) Is it Fair to all concerned?
3) Will it Build Good Will and Better?
4) Will it be Beneficial to all concerned?
